GM Releases Service Bulletin PIP6101 for Top End Ticking Noise (2025 - 2026 Enclave)

GM has released preliminary information in a new service bulletin for all 2025 and 2026 model year Buick Enclaves, which came with the 2.5 LK0 engine. Per the document (PIP6101), it addresses an engine top end ticking noise, caused by manufacturing debris inside the hydraulic lash adjusters. This debris causes a lack of oil flow resulting in metal on metal contact that can damage the intake or exhaust valve rockers.

Of course, affected Enclave owners can get this repair done at their local dealer at no cost to them.

Other 2025/2026 GM models that are affected are the Chevy Colorado, Chevy Traverse, Chevy Silverado 1500, GMC Acadia, GMC Canyon and GMC Sierra 1500.
